Elijah McGowan serves as a Disaster Outreach Coordinator at Cavalry Disaster Advocates, helping homeowners affected by wildfire connect with the right members of Cavalry’s team.
Growing up in Northern California, Elijah saw firsthand how wildfire can disrupt an entire community. He remembers weeks of smoke and having to temporarily leave home as nearby fires changed direction. Those experiences gave him a lasting respect for the uncertainty families face after a major loss.
Elijah has also been a licensed real estate agent for three years, giving him added perspective on the housing decisions homeowners may face during recovery. He also records a business podcast focused on local businesses, community issues, and the people helping shape the area.
Elijah brings an approachable, conversational style to his work. His goal is to listen, explain Cavalry’s process clearly, and help homeowners understand how a complimentary claim review may provide clear answers about whether they have received all the insurance benefits available under their policy.
